Started in 2015, [The Propaganda Project -BETA-] is an action/sci-fi/mecha comic set in an alternate dystopian Philippines that features a different adaptation of the aswang lore, as well as other creatures and characters from Philippine folklore, literature, and history. The story takes place in an alternate futuristic-ish Philippines where citizens of the Metropolis are alarmed by the presence of beings known as “Diablos.” However, there seems to be more of these “Diablos” that meets the eye… Are they threats against humanity that need to be eliminated, or are they humanity’s allies?
